"The high rate of deforestation in Indonesia proves that forest management is still not controlled, due to the opening of forest management information," said Christian in Cikini, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, November 11, 2015.

Christian explained that with the opening of natural forest management information, will be able to encourage people to participate actively supervise or requests control of the use of natural resources. Not only that, with the contribution of the community, the deforestation rate expectations can be suppressed.

The findings of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in 2015 shows that corruption is the implication of the closed forest management information in Indonesia. Forestry Ministry recorded in the period 2003-2014, the commercial timber production from natural forests Indonesia only 143.7 million cubic meters. While the findings of the Commission in the same period the total national wood production is estimated at 630.1 to 772.8 million cubic meters.

"The difference in the data that allegedly makes Indonesia suffered losses to the state from 598 to 799.3 trillion rupiah, or 49.8 to 66.6 trillion per year," said Christian.
